ReAttach for the World
My name is Ron Willems and with this website I aim to raise awareness on a topic that is dear to my heart, namely the training/therapy called ReAttach.
Who is Ron?

To first tell a bit about myself, I love getting most out of life. Whether it is at home with my partner and our two cats, at the office with my colleagues, or any other part of the world I happen find myself in, I put my best foot forward and enjoy life as much as I can; After a nice home-cooked dinner, my partner and I love to take our cats out for a stroll through the neighborhood and have a chat with the neighbors we come across along the way. Finishing up after a hard day’s work, I prefer to wind down by either doing some tai-chi, read a good book, play a board game or two with my friends, spruce up the garden or try my hand at furniture making/renovation. All in all, not a bad life and a good position from which to start working with ReAttach.
So, what is ReAttach?

ReAttach is a cost-effective method that helps people with regulating their stress levels and supports them with getting overview and insight in their lives, both in their relationships as well as work-wise. Because ReAttach is trans-diagnostic, it is suited to help deal with a wide range of situations and conditions, ranging from day-to-day anxiety and stress, to cognitive impairments, to post traumatic stress disorder, to autism.
What is my link with ReAttach?

Having been diagnosed with autism myself, I have experienced first hand how debilitating and frustrating it can be to not understand and be understood by others and to not be able to plan effectively for one’s own future. As I personally know Paula Zeestraten-Bartholomeus, the creator of ReAttach and the founder of the ReAttach Academy, I was lucky enough that she offered to help me, by treating me with Reattach shortly after she had invented it.

Accepting her help changed everything for me: Only minutes after having received my first session from her, I could already observe the first small positive change in me: In the video she made of me immediately after my first session, I could see that there was a bit more expression on my face compared to what was there only a moment before. In that instant it clicked; if this was the effect after only minutes, imagine what the effect would be over weeks, let alone years!

During the next few months I received several more sessions from her and my developments became more profound; communication with others became natural and much more enjoyable for everyone involved and having overview in my activities and planning accordingly became as normal as breathing. Now, well over a decade after Paula has helped me with the aid of Reattach, my communication skills are such that people find it hard to believe that I was ever diagnosed with autism at al. Furthermore, in my other job, as a senior researcher at a leading global company, I have become the go-to person for my boss when complex issues arise that need to be handled with inter-personal care and be resolved under significant time pressure.

As is hopefully clear by now, ReAttach has changed my life for the better tremendously. It has enabled me to take control of my own destiny, and I am extremely grateful for it.

So much so, that a few years ago I have decided to become a ReAttach coach myself and start helping others with it. Furthermore, I now travel around the world to spread the word about this promising method and to demonstrate its possibilities, by using it to help those who will benefit most from it.
My Vision regarding ReAttach
My vision is that ReAttach becomes the default method, where people, from all around the world and all walks of life, go to when they need help with processing what has happened in their lives, gain insight and overview in their day-to-day activities and to equip them with the skills needed to take control of their own destinies.

My Mission regarding ReAttach

To turn my vision into reality, it is my mission to spread awareness about ReAttach and make it grow, by showing what it has brought me, demonstrate what it can bring to others in need and inspire people to become ReAttach coaches and trainers themselves.
